If you follow me over on Instagram, then you know that this particular project tormented me for awhile. First, I had a hard time with the math and then I struggled to make a decision between using mats or not to showcase the art work.
I have temporarily (maybe not so temporarily) decided to leave them as is, floating without the mats in black frames and I am happy with that decision. What I am most pleased about are the pieces of art that I found for these frames. For this gallery wall, I really wanted all of the artists to be black and for each of the pieces to really have a message that spoke to the times we are currently living in and beyond. I am so excited to share with you where I found each print and I hope that you will support these amazing black artists (and others) as well!

I am so excited that we were able to create a gallery wall in our family room. I love all of the art prints and I am so happy that we had the opportunity to support black owned businesses, specifically women of color. Every time I walk into this room I am reminded, not only of the work it took to figure out the math for this wall, but also of the beauty that lies within each of those frames.
